Rarity grounded in a subject’s reach
BingeScore adds the article’s average daily readership over 60 days and 10 points for each available Wikipedia language, capped at 250 languages. It reflects how widely the subject is represented in the encyclopedia.
Worked example: an article with 500 daily readers and 40 languages has a BingeScore of 900. This explains the formula; it is not a snapshot of a particular catalogue card.
The five tiers
An article reaching 8,000 daily readers becomes Legendary directly. Otherwise these BingeScore thresholds determine rarity:
- Common: 0 points or more.
- Rare: 850 points or more.
- Super Rare: 1,900 points or more.
- Ultra Rare: 4,300 points or more.
- Legendary: 9,000 points or more.
Rarity and finish are different properties
Foil adds a holographic finish; Prism adds luminous facets. A finish describes the copy you received, while rarity classifies its subject. A copy keeps its rarity from the time it was drawn, even if the article’s readership changes afterwards.
A classic pack reserves its last slot for a Rare or better card. A guest’s first pack guarantees an Ultra Rare or Legendary in that slot. See the game guide for detailed odds by pack type.
